Your desk in downtown San Diego, with the kettle on.

Cozy Office is a small coworking space in downtown San Diego for people who work on their own but don't want to be alone. One long oak table, a handful of desks, good coffee, and faces you'll actually learn the names of.

  • Downtown San Diego
  • Around 20 seats, never crowded
  • Day passes $30
  • No contracts

Small on purpose.

No glass walls, no beer taps, no 200-person events. Just a warm, well-lit room in an old downtown storefront, set up for a good day of work: a big table for company, desks for the regulars, an armchair for thinking, and a door to close when you need one.

Everything's included.

  • Bottomless coffee

Locally roasted beans, a pour-over station, loose-leaf tea and oat milk in the fridge.

  • Phone booth

A small padded room for calls, so the main room can stay quiet.

  • A real kitchen

Fridge, oven, good knives and a table to eat at that isn't your desk.

Print, scan, and leave your things overnight without carrying them home.

A day at Cozy Office

There's a rhythm to the place. Quiet when you need to focus, a bit of chatter when you need a break, and a shared lunch once a week.

Wednesday lunch at the long table: a pot of soup and a loaf of bread being passed around, laptops closed and pushed aside
  1. Doors open

The first person in puts the kettle on. It's usually the same person.

  2. Focus hours

Headphones on, calls go to the booth. The room gets library-quiet.

  3. Lunch at the big table

Every Wednesday someone cooks, everyone else brings bread or does dishes.

  4. Tea & something sweet

A short break to stretch and meet whoever's new this week.

  5. Friday wind-down

A drink, a playlist, and talking about anything except work.

Good questions

Where are you?

In downtown San Diego. We're putting the finishing touches on the space, so we send the exact address and how to get in when you book a visit.

Can I try it before committing?

Yes — your first day is on us. Book a trial day below, show up, and see if the place suits you.

Who works here?

Mostly freelancers, remote employees and small teams of one to three: designers, developers, writers, translators, a bookkeeper. People who want company without an open-plan office.

Is it quiet?

Quiet enough to think, warm enough to talk. Calls happen in the phone booth or the meeting room, and the reading corner is a no-laptop-chatter zone.

Can I bring my dog?

Calm, friendly dogs are welcome on weekdays — just mention it when you book so we can check nobody has allergies that day.

Do you offer a business address?

Residents can use our downtown San Diego address as a mailing address, and we'll keep an eye on parcels for you.

Is there a minimum term?

No. Resident memberships run month to month with 30 days' notice. Day passes and bundles are pay-as-you-go.
